Bakar Aging Research Institute Career Development Award (Quantitative Sciences)

Overall Goal: Provide support for research and career development to individuals who have advanced degrees in biomedical sciences and would like to obtain training in quantitative disciplines and/or engineering. The award aims to build formal bridges between UCSF and UCB, as the applicant will have co-mentors at both schools to help them devise an individual research project that is distinct from the direction of research in the current mentor’s lab.

Deadline: February 1, 2024

Funding: Up to $200,000/year for 2 years. Includes salary and benefits for the fellow, in addition to research expenses
